265 – Flos

265 is the iconic wall lamp designed by Paolo Rizzatto for Flos. It’s a brillian combination of practicality and elegance. A steel adjustable arm of 2 metres lenght is balanced by the cast iron wall bracket, cone-shaped. 265 is very adaptable, being suitable for wide areas as well as for offices, where the spaces are smaller.
Nowadays 265 is available in the brand new finish Chromatica: the colour itself is a key element of the project, not only a decorative feature, and it expresses the specific function of every part, basing on the original project of Rizzatto. “The light allows our eyes to see the colours, so using the colour to define the design of a lamp seemed a natural consequence of this concept” says the architect.
265 is also Small, available in the three finishes: Chromatica, Black and White. The new size, with a shorter adjustable arm, makes the lamp even more adaptable and perfect for every kind of space.
